Pokemon Home was announced months prior to the release of Pokemon Sword and Shield as a way to store all of your Pokemon moving from Pokemon Bank upward into Pokemon Sword and Shield. Pokemon Go is also part of the mix here as well, which meant a Pokemon Home app for mobile devices was very important.
- Pokemon Home, the cloud service app is now available on iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch, worldwide. Pokemon Home is and works just like the Pokemon Bank, the only difference would be the fact that Pokemon Home is a cloud-based service. The service also lets trainers store their monsters to easily transfer them across titles.
- Pokemon Home is now live on Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android devices. The new service lets you store Pokemon you've caught in various games in the cloud and bring them into the series' latest.
Our guide will show you how to transfer Pokemon from Pokemon Bank on Nintendo 3DS.
Pokemon Home recently launched on Switch, iOS, and Android devices. The Pokemon storage system allows you to transfer Pokemon between games, trade pocket monsters with other trainers, and more.
If you purchase a premium subscription to Pokemon Home, you’ll unlock the ability to transfer Pokemon from Pokemon Bank on Nintendo 3DS into Pokemon Home. A subscription costs $2.99 per month, $4.99 for three months, and $15.99 for a full year.
While Pokemon Bank also has its own separate subscription plan on Nintendo 3DS, until March 12, 2020, access to Pokemon Bank and Poke Transporter will be free on 3DS so subscribers to Pokemon Home can move their pocket monsters over to the Switch.

If you’ve subscribed to Pokemon Home, follow these steps to transfer Pokemon from Pokemon Bank to Pokemon Home. Please note that we've broken our guide into sections, depending on whether you need to be using the Switch or 3DS to complete each step.
On the Switch
On the Pokemon Home main menu screen, select the 3DS symbol that says “Move.”
Select “Begin Move.”
You’ll see some information about how this process works. Select “Begin” to confirm that you want to begin the moving process.
Pokemon Home on Switch will now direct you to use Pokemon Bank on the 3DS to continue the moving process until you’ve reached the point where you’re given the chance to enter a Moving Key. Then, you’ll need to come back to the Switch to finish the moving process.
On the 3DS
On the Nintendo 3DS, open Pokemon Bank and select the “Move Pokemon to Pokemon Home” option. https://insuresoft.mystrikingly.com/blog/crossftp-1-97-5-ftp-client-and-synchronization-tool.
Pokemon Bank will warn you that if you move Pokemon from Pokemon Bank into Pokemon Home, you won’t be able to move them back again. Select “Begin” on this screen to move on.
You’ll be shown all of the boxes in your Pokemon Bank storage. You can either select individual boxes to move over, or you can move over every box at once. When you’re done selecting the box(es) you want to move, press “Y.”
You’ll see a question that asks: “Move these Pokemon to Pokemon Home?” Select “Yes.” Macbook pro reinstall os.
From there, you’ll see the menu that asks you to enter your Moving Key. Move back to the Switch to continue the process.
On the Switch
Select “Ready.”
You’ll be shown a 16-character Moving Key that will remain active for three minutes (we've covered up our Key in the screenshot below).
On the 3DS
Type the 16-character Moving Key that you see on the Switch.
Select “OK” when you’re done typing the Moving Key.
If you type the Moving Key correctly, Pokemon Bank will confirm the Key and will finalize the process of moving your Pokemon over to Pokemon Home.
On the Switch
In our experience, the process of moving Pokemon from Bank to Home takes a few minutes to complete. During this time, you won’t be able to use Pokemon Home. If you try to access Pokemon Home before the transfer is completed, you’ll be told that a move is in progress. https://enginememo109.weebly.com/din-6930-m-tolerance-pdf.html.
Pokemon Bank Pc
After the move has been completed, the next time you open Pokemon Home, you’ll be asked how you would like to organize your transferred boxes into Pokemon Home. Select “All boxes as they are,” “One Pokemon at a time,” or “Organize Boxes,” depending on how you want this to work.
While this process takes a bit of time to complete, thankfully, it’s not difficult. If you don’t subscribe to Pokemon Bank, make sure to complete this transfer process before March 12 and the free trial to Pokemon Bank ends!

Pokemon Bank Ios App
Pokémon Bank is an expansion of the entire box system in Pokémon games, and as such, it expands upon the concept giving a variety of new aspects and features. Some match and expand upon ones from the main-game, while others are completely new to Pokémon Bank.
Pokemon Bank Oras
Game Selection | |
The main feature of Pokémon Bank is allowing you to transfer Pokémon between various games. However, in addition to the generational transfer of Poké Transporter, you can transfer between Pokémon X & Y. As the games can be downloaded, the game offers you a choice of what game to utilise in your transfer. You can exit out and reload the other game at will, and it gives you the details of the game's current status. The most interesting point of this is that it ignores the 3DS's region lock, meaning that you can put an American game into a Japanese 3DS and use Pokémon Bank there. With the Sun & Moon update, while you can add Pokémon to Sun & Moon, once they have enterred the game, despite being storable on Pokémon Bank, they will not be able to return to any Generation VI game.
Groups | |
A new feature in Pokémon Bank is the ability to organise your boxes into groups. These groups can be renamed and you can place any of your 100 Pokémon Bank boxes in it. As such, if you wish to store Shiny Pokémon in four boxes, you can group them into the group you call Shiny, same with Competitive and any other group you desire
Search | |
In Pokémon X & Y, there's a new feature of the Pokémon Box that allows you to search for certain Pokémon, types, with specific moves and so forth. This returns in Pokémon Bank, but has a difference. In X & Y, the Pokémon that don't match the criteria will just become transparent, but Bank gives you a list of all your Pokémon. These lists can be sorted by a variety of attributes including Level, type, stats etc., and filtered so that it only lists the Pokémon that match your search criteria. From here, you can then gain quick access to the box that Pokémon is stored in, and/or see the Pokémon's summary. The search criteria is as follows:
| |
PokéMiles & Battle Points
When you deposit Pokémon into your Pokémon Bank boxes, you will earn various PokéMiles, which can be transferred to Pokémon X & Y to purchase a variety of items. However, this is not just limited to PokéMiles. If you do so wish, you can receive these points as 10% of the PokéMiles in Battle Points , to allow for spending in various Battle Facilities These are obtained depending upon how long your Pokémon spend in Bank, and how many Pokémon you have stored. The more and longer you store, the more points you get.
Pokédex | |
When you have updated the game to the version that allows for Pokémon Sun & Moon, it will give you a special Pokédex feature when you connect with X, Y, Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire, Sun & Moon. This will add the Pokémon you have seen and captured to the Pokédex. When you load the Pokédex up with the game loaded into Bank, it will register the game and the Pokémon of the game into the Pokédex. This means that you don't need to include all the Pokémon into your Bank in order to fill your Pokédex, merely fill your Pokédex in the game and continue it across. To complete the Pokédex in your games, however, you still need to put the Pokémon into the main game. You can search through the Pokédex like all games based on name, type, colour, shape, appearance (filtering to see seen Mega Evolutions, Alola Forms and Shiny Pokémon) and regional Pokédex options. The game will also give Pokédex entries for each of the game and allow you to change the forms.
Adventure Records | |
A new feature of Pokémon Bank with the release of Pokémon Sun & Moon is the ability to check your Adventure Records in the Pokédex. This will show each of your registered games and compare them for specific totals, with the winner getting a golden sheen to it. This allows for you to check the following bits of data for each of your games. Pokémon caughtPokémon caught by fishing Eggs hatched Pokémon evolved Fossils Restored Wild Pokémon encountered Number of trades Pokémon caught in one day Pokémon evolved in one day |
